Develop and optimize our custom-built eCommerce platform using Perl, PHP and complementary technologies.
Architect and implement new features, improve performance, and enhance security.
Work with and integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and logistics automation.
Improve database performance (PostgreSQL) and caching mechanisms.
Maintain high coding standards and documentation to ensure scalability and maintainability.

- Strong experience with PHP or Perl (most of our codebase is on Perl, yet we’re open for candidates without prior Perl experience willing to learn Perl)
Knowledge of modern web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX).
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web integrations.
Proficiency in Linux-based development environments.
Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Experience with eCommerce platforms, payment processing, or logistics is a plus.
