Your role:

An Occupational Safety Hygienist identifies workplace risks and advises on mitigation
strategies. Operating across Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Malaysia, and Guyana, they promote safety leadership and awareness.
● Assess and control workplace health hazards (chemical, physical, biological,
ergonomic).
● Implement risk reduction measures through engineering and administrative controls.
● Conduct ergonomic assessments and improve workplace adaptation.
● Manage health & safety programs, including hazardous substances and PPE.
● Lead training, awareness campaigns, and offshore inspections.
● Support audits, compliance, and legal requirements.
● Promote safety culture and mentor HSSE teams.
● Monitor HSSE performance and develop improvement solutions.
● Coordinate Occupational Safety and Hygiene programs and initiatives.
● Ensure audit compliance and track corrective actions.

If you have:

Engineering Degree or master’s in occupational health and safety, chemistry, biology, environmental science.
Experience in the Energy Sector (preferable Oil and Gas Operations in FPSO) or similar industry (chemical);
Strong technical/site experience or HSSE management experience;
NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent Management System Lead Auditor (ISO 45001/ISO 14001);
Valid offshore medical certificate, BOSIET/HUET required for the position.
Ability to work effectively in diverse cultures and regions;
Global mindset, pro-active, problem-solving paired with a very clear hands-on mentality;
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interface with multi disciples the ability to apply
the underlying principles of occupational hygiene;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to gain the confidence and cooperation of the workforce;
Analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail;
