Day to day:

• Develop software;


• Participate in Product Development;


• Participate in Project Development;


• Requirements Analysis;


• Writing technical documentation;


• Code review;


• Unit testing;


• Integration Testing;


• Maintenance and improvement of existing functionality;


• Work with UI developers (depending on assignments);


• Providing operational support to users including client facing meetings;


• Support QA function.

Skills and Background:

• Academic background in Software Engineering (nice to have);


• Experience in programming C# Experience (2 years+);


• Experience designing and developing REST APIs;


• Experience in Cloud (ideally AWS);


• Knowledge of Agile methodology (for product development);


• Knowledge of Software Engineering principles (OOP, TDD, SOLID, DRY, KIS…);


• Able to apply theoretical understanding to solve real world problems with minimal guidance;


• Fast learner; 


• Strong english skills;


• Portuguese or EU citizenship.

Bonus/Nice to have:

• Experience with Relational Databases (PostgreSQL a nice to have);


• Experience in Python (nice to have);


• Experience in Waterfall projects (on specific client projects);


• Experience with physical infrastructure (nice to have);


• Experience with UML Modelling (nice to have);


• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform) (nice to have);


• Experience working on Defense projects (nice to have).
