Develop and implement new product and service strategies according to company objectives, aiming to accelerate growth;
Understand key drivers for the market to enable proactive and detailed plans to exploit commercial opportunities;
Understand the requirements of existing clients to ensure their needs are being met;
Intensively, proactively engage clients and prospects to build proximity and insight (recording all engagement plans and outputs in Salesforce);
Work with the marketing team to devise marketing materials and tools to support new business teams;
Promote company services, solutions and development plans to clients and customers;
Understand customer/applicant expectations and apply those to solution development and innovation;
Collaborate with and coordinate cross-functional teams to optimise solutions and pursuits;
Constructively challenge colleagues across all departments to provide the best support to Sales activities;
Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders, including delivery partners and subcontractors;
Gather, record and exploit information and data to inform strategies and monitor performance of commercial activities (and prepare reports for executive management);
Provide market analysis to executive leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas;
Monthly reporting on sales performance against budget and reporting on variances.
Work to stretching targets, adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new business opportunity;
Negotiate contracts with clients to optimise requirements and ensuring necessary profitability;
Act as a “face” and prominent spokesperson for the company, promoting the brand and services online.
